 MAMA'S TIPS, TRICKS, & ALTERNATIVE INSTRUCTIONS

OH, SHEET! YOU FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE LABEL EXACTLY, BUT YOUR LASAGNA DIDN'T TURN OUT QUITE RIGHT.

The instructions on our packages are guidelines, as ovens vary in temperature and people have different preferences as to how they like their lasagna, but by following these tips, tricks, and instructions, you can cook your Mama Yolanda's lasagna exactly how you and your family like it. 

You just cooked your first Mama Yolanda's lasagna according to the instructions in your conventional oven, but it's still cold in the centre:

Since ovens vary in temperature your lasagna just needs a little more time, but great things are worth waiting for!

THE SOLUTION

Bake it for a longer period of time.

With the oven still heated to 400°F (204°C), continue baking your lasagna, checking it every 10 minutes until a minimum temperature of 165°F (74°C) has been reached. Then, carefully remove the lasagna from the oven, take off the lid, let the lasagna stand for 10 minutes, and then it's ready to serve!
